Refreshing.
I will add too that having a True blue mormon husband still that if anyone has served a mission before, they use the commitment pattern even years later! :} My husband has tried this on me many times and thankfully I am well versed in the commitment pattern and can recognize it when it's being used on me!! I'm happy when a friend I'm praying for attends *any* Bible-believing church that preaches sound Christian doctrine. It's the truth that sets people free, not a particular denomination or church building.Conniehttp://runningfromheaven.tumblr.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-431135023103819088.post-8546679145736641922009-09-02T10:55:48.240-06:002009-09-02T10:55:48.240-06:00Steve,

I do think though the teaching is there, for every mormon to be a missionary sort of speak.

I think being open and transparent about with LDS friends is helpful. I know it has helped me after leaving the LDS, to just be open with my friends who hope to "win" me back sort of speak. It has also shown me "who" my true friends are. Those who merely were being friendly just to win me back to the fold, went away when I told them I knew what their intents was, and those who have stuck around truly do love me and respect my faith as it stands. It's refreshing to be able to know who is who sort of speak.

Kind regards,
gloriaI am the Clayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03746787843582356037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-431135023103819088.post-32679448825336285262009-09-02T09:34:54.673-06:002009-09-02T09:34:54.673-06:00A very interesting and enlightening post.
